Al-Asadi said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The ring road in Baghdad is under the custody of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and the Baghdad Municipality, and we reached a final design, but there were comments by the Prime Minister and the committees supervising the project to improve the designs so that its benefit would be greater and serve a greater number of users.” “.
He pointed out that “the project is existing and in the process of being referred and will solve a major problem because the ring roads are major roads in all countries of the world, and these roads carry a great weight, so people coming from outside Baghdad Governorate will pass to other directions from south to north or vice versa without entering the city center.” And causing traffic jams.”
Al-Asadi added, “There are conflicts on the way, and major studies have been carried out by the ministry and the advisory committees to overcome the conflicts to speed up the construction process and increase the areas served by the project.”
