Baghdad / Nina / Baghdad Governorate denied allegations made by Governor Abd al-Muttalib al-Alawi regarding generator owners who violated the setting of meters.
The governor’s media office stated in a statement: “Some media outlets reported a statement attributed to the governor of Baghdad, Abdul Muttalib al-Alawi, regarding the work of generators, and therefore we clarify that the governor indicated that there is a paper prepared to regulate the work of generators in the capital, Baghdad, and it will be announced after it is formulated and finalized with the approval of the Governor.” Concerned authorities and to serve our honorable people in Baghdad.”
He added, “The governor never mentioned imposing deterrent measures against generators that violated the installation of meters, as reported in some media outlets,” calling on the media and bloggers on social media pages to be accurate in conveying information./End
