A statement by the Government Media and Communications Department, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, “The Governor of Baghdad, Abdul Muttalib Al-Alawi, directed to continue the service effort and intensify field work for the Baghdad Governorate Sewerage Directorate and supporting departments such as municipalities, water, and administrative units, and to cooperate with all relevant parties to withdraw rainwater and run… Complete for stations.
He added, “Work is still continuing until all work is completed in order to serve our esteemed citizens and within the areas located within the limits and powers of the Baghdad local executive government.”
