In an exclusive interview with FRANCE 24 in Beirut, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned Tuesday’s Israeli strikes on Qatar, saying “the true scandal is that the world is powerless”. French President Emmanuel Macron has picked defence chief Sébastien Lecornu as his new Prime Minsiter a day after François Bayrou was voted out in parliament.
