The Trump administration on Tuesday released thousands of previously classified documents related to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy. This follows an executive order made by President Donald Trump shortly after he took office directing the release of unredacted government files about Kennedy’s killing. Trade tensions between the EU and US ratcheted up this week when Brussels announced €26 billion ($28 billion) of tariffs on US goods, in response to the Trump administration’s 25% levies on steel and aluminum. Global growth is expected to slow due to “trade barriers” and “increased geopolitical and policy uncertainty,” the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) said Monday.
