
Six people, including four Pakistanis, were killed and nearly 30 wounded in a shooting near a Shiite mosque in Muscat, Oman. The Islamic State claimed the rare attack, which occurred during Ashura, an annual Shiite mourning period commemorating Imam Hussein’s seventh-century death.
