The great Iraqi artist, Mazen Mohammed Mustafa, is preparing to perform his new theatrical work, written by the artist, Mithal Ghazi, and directed by Osama Al-Sultan.
Mustafa told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “I started rehearsals for the new theatrical work that will see the light soon, entitled (Night of the Loneliness).”
He added, “The play is about a person who began to lose his life little by little after experiencing wars and setbacks. He is accompanied by a doctor in the hospital who supervises his treatment and prepares for his last seven days of life. However, he wakes up at the last moment and his beloved dies, and he remains alive, pained by her departure.”
He explained that “it is hoped that the play will be shown in the current month of July after completing all rehearsals and preparations, so that it will be an enjoyable theatrical performance that the audience will enjoy.”
