Baghdad /Nina/ The Federal Integrity Commission announced the implementation of arrest operations in the Municipality and Enforcement Directorates in Diwaniyah, explaining that officials in them were arrested and arrested.
The Authority’s Government Information and Communications Office indicated the arrest of the head of the “Implementation Secretariat” Committee in the Diwaniyah Municipality Directorate after an arrest and search warrant was issued against him, on the grounds that he deliberately harmed the funds and interests of the entity he works for, indicating that the accused had purchased an electric generator for the sanitary landfill unit in The directorate amounted to (25,000,000) dinars, and it was removed from storage and replaced with old and worn-out ones.
The office added that the work team of the Commission’s investigation office in Diwaniyah, which moved to the Directorate of Enforcement in the governorate, was able to arrest the files official there. Because she requested an amount of five hundred thousand dinars as a “bribe” from one of the auditors. In exchange for completing the procedures related to her file, he pointed out that the accused concealed the transaction after the auditor refused to pay the amount, and after the work team carried out an inspection, she was found in the department director’s room.
He continued that the work team detected violations at the Diwaniyah Sports Club in the club’s disbursement operations of an amount of (144,850,000) million dinars, for the years (2020-2023), and noted that the external audit division in the office showed that the disbursement operations were carried out in violation of the law and without support by disbursement enhancers. ./End 9
