He added: “I am participating in the festival with the play (The House of Abu Abdullah) as an author, actor and director, alongside the artists Thuraya Abu Ghanmi from Tunisia, Omar Ayoub, and a group of young performers. The play was presented at the Al-Rashid Theater, as part of the activities of the Arab Theater Festival organized by the Arab Theater Authority.”
He continued, “I performed the play Abu Abdullah’s House in the manner of (meta-theatre) in a new style. As for its idea, it talks about the events taking place inside Abu Abdullah’s house and contains a symbolic reference to the homeland. The play relied on contemporary dance (drama dance) and there is harmony between… Theater and dance generate performances that have a nature that is consistent with the requirements of Arab theatre, and this has a directorial vision like any theatre.”
