Assistant to the Iranian Sistan and Baluchestan Province for Security and Police Affairs, Ali Reza Merhamati, revealed how the attacks launched by the Pakistani army were carried out on Thursday.

Merahmati pointed out that the latest available data indicates that the Pakistani army attacked, at 4:30 a.m. today, Thursday, with three marches, three residential sites in one of the Iranian border villages, pointing out that these attacks caused the destruction of three residential homes and the killing of about 10 women and children.
The security assistant for Sistan and Baluchestan Province added that the people who were killed were Pakistani nationals, noting that the security and relevant services are following up on the case to clarify how these nationals resided in our border areas and in this particular village.
Merhamati confirmed that the purpose of carrying out these attacks is under study and that the results will be announced later.
On Thursday, Iran demanded that Pakistan explain its air strike in Sistan and Baluchestan province, which the latter said targeted “terrorist nests.”
Earlier today, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry announced that the army had launched a series of military strikes targeting “terrorist nests” in the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan, stressing that “Pakistan fully respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
