The Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers announced today, Thursday, the intention to prepare an annual plan in cooperation with the relevant authorities to absorb unappointed agricultural engineers, while indicating that the Investment Authority issued an official directive to employ agricultural engineers.

The head of the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers, Sadiq al-Muhammadawi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “There is a tendency for the Syndicate of Engineers, in coordination between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Federal Service Council, to prepare an annual plan to absorb unappointed agricultural engineers.”
Al-Mohammadawi explained, “This vision will be part of the programs related to the Ministry of Agriculture’s agricultural projects, as well as projects related to the National Investment Authority and other agricultural projects.”
He pointed out, “After meeting with the National Investment Authority, the latter obligated the employment of agricultural engineers who are not appointed in agricultural investment projects. It also recommended that the agricultural engineer be a guarantor of any agricultural investment activity.”
He pointed out that “the National Investment Authority issued an official directive after meeting with the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers and the Council of Advisors at the Syndicate’s headquarters, with the presence of an agricultural engineer licensed by the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers in all agricultural investment projects,” stressing that “this directive has become obligatory to apply to all bodies.” Investment distributed in the governorates.
He continued, “This is what the Engineers Syndicate sought by providing job opportunities outside the government sector, in the event that a job opportunity is not available within the programs of the Ministry of Agriculture or private appointments in all institutions that contain agricultural activity.”
