Baghdad/NinaES Setif advanced to third place in the Algerian Professional Football League, after winning, on Friday evening, over its guest, US Khenchela, by two goals to one, in the opening matches of the sixteenth round of the competition.
Ammar Abdelmalek Okil and Ayman Abdelaziz Lahmri scored Setif’s goals from a penalty kick in the 6th and 79th minutes, and Abdelhakim Samer scored the Ittihad Khenchela goal from a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.
With this victory, ES Setif raised its score to 27 points, advancing to third place, nine points behind MC Algiers, and one point behind CS Belouizdad, runner-up, while USK Khenchela’s score stopped at 23 points in seventh place.
In a second match, Mouloudia Oran wasted two valuable points in the race for survival, after tying with its guest, the Olympique de Chlef, with a similar goal, as Walid Arji advanced for Mouloudia Oran in the minute (45 + 2), but Togolese Evra Agbano equalized for the Olympic Association of Chlef in the minute (68). ).
