Baghdad/NinaPrime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani met today, Saturday, at his residence in Munich, with US Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, on the sidelines of participation in the Munich Security Conference 2024.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office stated, “During the meeting, the importance of strengthening legal and judicial cooperation between Iraq and the United States of America was discussed, on many issues.”
Al-Sudani pointed out, “to the government’s steps and procedures in the field of combating corruption, indicating that the government has taken to determining Iraq’s relations with countries by the extent of their cooperation in recovering stolen funds, those convicted of stealing public money, and those wanted by the Iraqi judiciary.”/End H
