Baghdad / Nina / The Prime Minister directed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to harness efforts to provide relief to the people of Dohuk.
The Joint Operations Command said in a statement: “In implementation of the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and his close follow-up of the climate situation in light of the waves of rain that fell throughout the country during the past two days, and the necessity of harnessing all relevant resources and capabilities to relieve our people and provide support and support to Dohuk Governorate, in particular, the Commander instructed General of the Joint Operations Command and the Crisis and Disaster Center in the Ministry of Interior to provide all aspects of support and support required for our people in the Kurdistan region.
She added: “The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, First Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, communicated with the governmental and administrative authorities and the leaders of the security sectors in the Kurdistan Region, with the aim of determining priorities and mechanisms for providing relief support to the affected members of our people in the Kurdistan Region.”
She pointed out, “It was observed, through the reports submitted by the Ministry of Water Resources on the state of the country, a clear rise in rainwater levels through the recorded increase in quantities in the Mosul, Dokan, Al-Azim, Darbandikhan and Haditha dams.”
