Today, Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani affirmed his support for improving the living conditions of educational staff and providing them with adequate housing.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated, in a statement received by Al-Rasheed, that “Al-Sudani received the delegation of the Iraqi Teachers Syndicate headed by the Head of the Teachers Syndicate, Uday Al-Issawi, and at the beginning of the meeting, he offered congratulations to the Syndicate President and members of the Syndicate Council on the occasion of their election to membership in the Syndicate Council.”
He added, “Al-Sudani praised the role of educational staff and their efforts in the educational process, stressing his full support for all demands, programs and initiatives that would improve the educational reality in various governorates, in addition to providing everything that improves the living reality of educational staff, especially with regard to providing housing.” “It is appropriate for them.”
Al-Sudani pointed out, according to the statement, “the importance of the union in developing the education sectors and strengthening the relationship and cooperation with the Ministry of Education, stressing the need for workers in the union to take the initiative to support building the state.” “They represent a large and important segment in building society.”
For their part, the union delegation extended their thanks and appreciation to the Prime Minister for his continued support for the educational process, and his positive interaction with the demands and initiatives that were put forward that would improve the situation of teachers, according to the statement.
