The Minister of Youth and Sports, Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, during his tour of the Olympic Port Stadium today, Wednesday, directed the company implementing the stadium and the engineering staff in the Ministry of Youth and Sports to complete the work on the small tents in the roof, the track, the secondary stadiums, and the rest of the finishes that have not yet been completed in the stadium.
A statement by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “Al-Mubarqa confirmed that work will begin as soon as the Iraq Stars League ends, on the tenth of next June, and the stadium is out of service until it is fully prepared without any deficiency.”
Al-Mubarqa pointed out “the importance of continuing work without waiting for the end of the league, in the details that do not conflict with holding matches on the field.” Al-Mubarqa was briefed on the stages of resuming work at the secondary training field, stressing the necessity of working with two morning and evening meals to complete it as quickly as possible, stressing that the ministry will not accept “With any delay.”
