Baghdad / Nina/ Al-Hilal was crowned champion of the Riyadh Friendly Season Cup after defeating its guest and rival Al-Nasr with a clean double at the “Kingdom Arena”, the stronghold of the new leader, this evening, Thursday, in the final of the tournament.
Al Hilal’s brace was scored by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Salem Al-Dosari in the 17th and 30th minutes, respectively.
Al-Hilal won the championship title that was held in its new stadium after collecting 6 points by defeating Inter Miami of the United States 4-3, then Al-Nasr today.
On the other hand, Al-Nasr came in second place with 3 points from a 6-0 victory over Inter Miami last Thursday, and a loss to the home team, while the American team, for which Lionel Messi plays, finished the tournament without points.
Al-Hilal confirmed its superiority over its yellow neighbor by winning the second match in a row without conceding a goal, as the first round match of the current Saudi League season was decided at the beginning of last December by three clean goals./End 9
