Senior sources confirmed, today, Saturday, that the health condition of Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani is stable, after he suffered a stroke during his official visit to the United States.
The sources said in a statement to the official agency, which was followed by Al-Rasheed, that “the Minister of Oil has begun to recover in a hospital in Texas,” stressing that “the Iraqi consulate in Texas is following up on his health condition.”
Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani arrived in the United States last week on a visit aimed at attracting American companies to invest in Iraq’s energy sector.
