Het aantal besmettingen met mazelen loopt weer op. In januari werd de ziekte bij 23 mensen vastgesteld, terwijl er in januari vorig jaar één geval was gevonden en in januari 2023 nul. Het aantal infecties is ook hoger dan in november en december. Volgens het Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu (RIVM) is er geen sprake van een landelijke uitbraak.
