The Security Media Cell announced the launch of an investigation into an incident targeting a civilian vehicle within the Al-Mashtal area, east of the capital, Baghdad.

The cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “a specialized technical team from the security services began investigating an incident targeting a civilian vehicle within the Al-Mashtal area, east of the capital, Baghdad, at 2135 hours today, February 7, 2024.”
She added, “This targeting led to the burning of the wheel and the martyrdom of those inside it, and the investigation is still ongoing to determine the method and source of the targeting.”
