The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, “The Al-Zawraa team took the lead in the 6th minute with a header from its player Maytham Jabbar, and Mahmoud Al-Mawas equalized for the Green Guitar from a penalty kick in the 29th minute, which was returned by goalkeeper Jalal Hassan, and Al-Mawas completed it in the goal.” .
He added, “The player (Christopher John) scored the second goal for Al-Zawraa in the 31st minute with a kick from outside the penalty area that went past goalkeeper Ahmed Basil, ending the first half with Al-Zawraa leading by two goals to one goal for Al-Shorta.”
He stated, “The player Karar Amer scored Al-Shorta’s second equalizer with a header in the 52nd minute, which was cleared by goalkeeper Jalal Hassan and bounced off the crossbar into the Al-Zawraa net.”
