A security source reported, on Thursday, the arrest of a person claiming to be the awaited Imam Mahdi, southwest of Baghdad.
The source told Al-Rasheed, “Information was received about video clips showing a person who owns a channel on the YouTube application, claiming that he is the Awaited Imam Mahdi.”
He added, “A working team was formed from the Baghdad-Karkh police, and they set up a precise ambush for him and arrested him within the Al-Radwaniyah district, southwest of the capital.”
