Baghdad/Nina/ Detachments of the Diyala, Anbar and Diwaniyah Governorate Police Command carried out security practices, which resulted in the arrest of a number of judicially wanted persons.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated, “The Diyala Governorate Police Command implemented security practices throughout all areas of the governorate, which resulted in the arrest of (21) wanted persons according to various cases that varied between theft, drugs, possession, and other criminal cases, as well as the seizure of wheels with impound signs and bicycles in violation of regulations and laws.” Meanwhile, the Rapid Response Division forces were able to arrest 3 foreigners who violated Iraqi residency requirements in the Al-Zuhairat district of Diyala.
The statement added, “Detachments of the Diwaniyah Governorate Police Command carried out security practices that resulted in the arrest of (20) wanted persons in various cases related to theft, drugs, possession, threats, fraud, and other criminal cases, in addition to being able to seize wheels with impound signs and bicycles in violation of regulations and laws.”
In Anbar Governorate, detachments of the Anbar Governorate Police Command embarked on a wide security campaign throughout all areas of the governorate, during which they were able to arrest (13) wanted persons on various cases, most notably terrorism, in addition to seizing various weapons, wheels with impoundment signs, and bicycles violating traffic instructions.
