A judicial source reported today, Thursday, that a one-year prison sentence was issued in absentia against the director of the former Prime Minister’s Office, Raed Jouhi.

The judicial source told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Iraqi judiciary issued a one-year prison sentence in absentia against the director of the former Prime Minister’s Office, Raed Jouhi, with the seizure of his movable and immovable assets.”
He added, “The ruling came against the backdrop of his smuggling of the accused, Dhia al-Moussawi, and his failure to implement the arrest warrant.”
