Baghdad / Nina/ A powerful explosion shook the Sundbyberg area in Stockholm, at dawn today, Friday, and its sound was heard in large parts of the capital at about two o’clock after midnight.
The explosion occurred in a residential building in Storskogen, Sundbury, without any casualties recorded. Many police officers and ambulances moved to the area.
The pictures showed damage to the facade of the residential building located near the Näckrosen metro station. Balconies were also damaged, and cars parked nearby were damaged.
Police spokeswoman Anna Vestbury said: “It is still unclear what exploded, but it is clear that there was a loud bang heard in several parts of the city.”
Police cordoned off the site late last night, but did not have to evacuate the building’s residents. She conducted thorough house-to-house searches and reviewed surveillance footage of the area.
Expressen reported that a member of the Foxtrot gang, Alfred Finbury, was registered at the targeted address. Finbury was known as a bomb maker for gang leader Rafa Majeed. He was convicted last December of destroying public property./End 9
