Baghdad/NinaToday, Saturday, a force from the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out a broad security operation from four axes deep into the Hatra Island, south of Nineveh Governorate.
A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated that the operation included searching and securing a large number of areas within the axes where the operation was launched, in addition to verifying citizens’ identities.
The statement added that the operation aims to inspect, audit and pursue the remnants of the terrorist “ISIS” and impose security and stability throughout Nineveh Governorate./End 2
