Baqubah / Nina / A delegation from the Ministry of Defense inspected the military units in the Hamrin Hills, northeast of Baqubah, the center of Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency: Nina /: “A delegation from the Ministry of Defense, headed by the Commander of the Ground Forces, Qasim Muhammad Saleh, inspected the military units deployed within the Hamrin Hills, which are considered one of the most complex areas from a geographical standpoint.”
He added: “Directives were issued during the visit of the military delegation to the Hamrin area, including installing watchtowers in Al-Rabaya, providing binoculars and thermal cameras, and strengthening defensive lines in order to prevent ISIS cells from infiltrating the region, in addition to strengthening stationing points near Salah al-Din as part of the strategy of the Ministry of Defense.” To ensure that no security breaches occur.”/End
