A security source reported that 8 army soldiers and members of the Awakening were killed and injured in the explosion of two devices in Diyala. The source said in the village of Dawoud Al-Salem in the Khan Bani Saad district of Diyala, which resulted in the injury of a civilian and a member of the Awakening Forces.
