A statement by the agency, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “Detachments of the Intelligence Agency (Falcons Intelligence Cell), in conjunction with the Wasit Crime Control Department, carried out a qualitative operation based on accurate intelligence information, during which it resulted in the arrest of four defendants who had kidnapped a citizen earlier and killed him.” And his money was stolen in Wasit Governorate.”
The statement added, “They were found in possession of various light weapons, and they were handed over to the competent investigative authorities to receive their just punishment.”
