Baghdad/Nina/ Federal Police forces arrested 19 defendants according to various legal articles in Baghdad.
The Ministry of the Interior stated in a statement: “The security effort and close follow-up by units of the First Division of the Federal Police, in cooperation with the intelligence effort, resulted in the arrest of (14) accused according to various legal articles (forgery, quarreling, possession of a BKC weapon, trespassing on agricultural lands).” The operations were carried out as a result of the implementation of the duties of arrest warrants and security practices in the areas of (Al-Ubaidi Presidency, Bismayah, Al-Mada’in, and Al-Nahrawan) in Baghdad.
She added: “As part of implementing the practice of setting up sudden controls, detachments of the Fifth Division arrested two suspects, each of whom was found in possession of an unlicensed pistol in the areas of (Al-Shaab and Al-Daseem).”
She continued: “In the Al-Falahiya area, two defendants were arrested for throwing a Molotov cocktail at a citizen’s house, and in the Husseiniyat Al-Ma’amel area, an accused wanted by the judiciary was arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article (446 of theft).”/End 7
