Baghdad /NinaThe Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced the killing of 18 people in US air strikes last night and early today, as a preliminary toll.
The Observatory said in a statement: “The raids targeted 26 locations in Al-Mayadeen, Al-Bukamal, and the city of Deir ez-Zor.”
Late last night, the United States announced the start of strikes on sites in Syria in response to the Jordanian attack.
Sources reported that the strikes targeted sites in the Al-Haidariya farms in the Al-Mayadeen desert, in addition to the Harabesh and Hawija Sukr regions, Deir ez-Zor military airport, and the vicinity of the College of Education in Deir ez-Zor as well./ End 9
