Baghdad/NinaThe Ministry of Interior announced, today, Wednesday, the arrest of 15 foreigners who violated residency requirements in Karbala.
The Ministry said in its statement: “As part of the continuing efforts of the divisions and formations of the Holy Karbala Governorate Police Command and all security services, the detachments of the Arab and International Police Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Tourist Security Department, the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, the Residency Department, and the Expatriates Division, were able to arrest (15) people.” Of different foreign nationalities, as a result of their violation of residency requirements and their practice of work without official contracts.”
The statement added that these campaigns come within the framework of the ongoing follow-up of expatriates and foreign workers in Holy Karbala./End 2
