A statement by the Intelligence Directorate received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that, “In continuation of the support and participation operations in securing the border with the occupying units and with accurate intelligence information from the Al-Jazeera Operations Command Department and in cooperation with the Commando Commando Brigade, a precise ambush was set up in the control of the martyr Ali Al-Baidhani, which resulted in the arrest 10 people from one of the neighboring countries are trying to enter and infiltrate Iraqi territory illegally and legally.”
The statement indicated that “the infiltrators were hiding inside an Actros trailer”, indicating that “they were handed over with the wheel to the concerned authority according to the applicable procedures.”
