On Tuesday, the Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 10 drug traffickers in five governorates.
The Ministry stated, in a statement received by Al-Rasheed, that “The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs carried out a series of qualitative operations within 24 hours in Diyala, Kirkuk, Wasit, Maysan, and Baghdad.”
She added, “The operations resulted in the arrest of (10) drug traffickers red-handed in possession of (9) kilograms of various narcotic substances.”
