
Israeli tanks pushed deeper into eastern Rafah on Tuesday morning, entering the neighbourhoods of Al-Jneina, Al-Salam and Al-Brazil, residents said, as air strikes continued across the enclave’s north and south. The United Nations’ agency for Palestinian refugees has said that 360,000 Palestinians have fled the southern city of Rafah over the past week out of 1.3 million who were sheltering there before the operation began.
